We have some great news to share with you today - WP Umbrella is now compatible with WP Engine! We know that some of you have been having connection issues, and we're happy to report that those are now a thing of the past. 

You can now use WP Umbrella flawlessly with WP Engine, and enjoy all the benefits that come with it. 

None of this would be possible without your help and the help of the WP Engine team. We are working on something similar with Kinsta. 

Shall you experience any recurrent backup/update issues, please feel free to reach out at support@wp-umbrella.com. We recently realized that theses issues are mostly coming from hosting firewall rules, and with your help, we will make WP Umbrella compatible with your hosting provider.

We've just rolled out a new feature that we think you're going to love - the ability to restore your website in 1-click. 

That's right, you can now restore your website to its original state with just a single click.

We know that accidents happen and sometimes things can go wrong. Now, if something does happen to one of your websites, you can easily and quickly restore it! 🙃

No more fiddling around with complex restore procedures! 

To enjoy this feature you need to update WP Umbrella to its last version (2.3.0) and have a backup made with version 2.3.0.

Hello everyone! 

We have been working hard on the 1-click restoration for the last 4 weeks and everything is almost ready. We will open the beta testing of this feature soon.

To prepare for the 1-click restoration we have had to improve (again) the backup process. In a nutshell, we totally tweaked the way we backup databases and we are now able to manage the backup of crazy heavy databases, regardless of the server configuration. We also fix a couple of other things to make the process more efficient for everybody.

This update will not give you access to any new features, but it's important that you update WP Umbrella to 2.2.1 so we can ensure a smooth transition toward the 1-click restoration for everybody.

You can update WP Umbrella on all your websites in just one click from the Bulk Actions tab.

We've made an update to WP Umbrella that we think you're going to like, because this feature was requested by so many of you. 

Now, when you click on the "WP Admin" button, you'll be able to select which user you want to access the admin panel as. This is a really quick and easy way to get to the admin panel, without having to go through the process of logging in and out as different users.

To select a user click on Project name >> Settings and scroll down to the bottom of the page.

We've just released a new feature for WP Umbrella that makes it super easy to bulk update themes in WordPress.

Previously, if you wanted to update multiple themes at once, you had to do it manually one by one. But with our new bulk update feature, you can now update all your themes, on all your websites in just one click!

This is a huge time saver! So if you're looking to save a ton of time when updating your WordPress themes, be sure to check out our new bulk update feature. 

We have also improved the UX on all bulk actions with a new selector.

Thanks to your feedback, we've recently made a small improvement to WP Umbrella's application that we think you'll find really helpful – now you can access plugins' changelog without leaving our application! 

You only need to click on view changelog under the plugin name to open it in a modal.

This means that you can easily stay up-to-date on the latest changes for all of your wordpress plugins, and save time in the process. 

At the moment, this feature is only available for plugins listed in WordPress official plugins directory.

You probably didn't know this, but WP Umbrella automatically re-syncs your data every 2 hours. This is why a plugin update might sometimes look available in the dashboard even though you have already updated the plugin.

Since we cannot increase the re-sync frequency because we would be blocked by most hosting providers, we've added a new "Re-Sync Data" button to WP Umbrella bulk actions! 

This button will allow you to quickly and easily re-sync your data to ensure that it is accurate and up to date.

We have also pushed some fixes to improve our new backup process & safe update technology. So please, update WP Umbrella to its last version (2.1.2).

We hope that this new button will be helpful to you and make managing your WordPress site even easier!

We're excited to announce 2 major improvements to WP Umbrella! 

First off, we've completely revamped our backup process to make sure it never fails. 

In a nutshell, we will automatically adapt the size of the backup batches to your server capacity. This new process is lighter and should allow us to backup any website, regardless of its size or server PHP memory limit. 

Secondly, we have slightly improved our safe update technology. This should decrease the number of failed updates that you might experience from time to time.

To benefit from these new processes, you need to update the plugin. 

Hopefully, you can easily update WP Umbrella on all your websites in just one click from the Bulk Actions tab. 😏

We've just released a new feature for WP Umbrella that lets you bulk activate and deactivate plugins! This is a great way to manage updates and keep your WordPress site running smoothly. 

Now you can bulk activate and deactivate plugins from your WP Umbrella dashboard! We know that managing plugins can be a pain, and we wanted to make it as easy as possible for you to get the most out of your website. 

With this new feature, you can now activate or deactivate multiple plugins at once, which should save you a ton of time. 

To bulk activate or deactivate plugins, just click on " Bulk Actions " in the header.
